In Transit...someone pinch me.

I am on my way home...... and in 24 hours, I will get my first HUG!! To be honest, I am wrestling to understand the reality of it. 10 days ago, this felt SO FAR AWAY. Then, before I knew it, I was rushing to get packed. I didn't have time to think about how REAL it was becoming. Now, in my 2 days of traveling, I have tons of time to think about it. Being a 'thinker,' I have gone through all the aspects of going home. Amidst my thinking, I still can't figure out how to comprehend it. A good old fashioned pinch might be my only hope . . . or a bear hug to squeeze me into reality. :0)

I am leaving Bangladesh.

I am leaving Bangladesh . . . with faith that God used me in this time for His purpose and strengthened me for His future.

I am leaving Bangladesh . . . with peace in God's timing.

I am leaving Bangladesh . . . excited to be home for another season surrounded by family and friends and a community I cherish.

Yet . . . I am leaving Bangladesh.


Bangladesh has become such a special place to me--a part of me. Although I leave with peace and faith and excitement, I can't seem to escape the tears. Please pray for me, and keep a hug and smile in store for me when I see you again!!

NEW NEWS: I am coming home. I am set to arrive home Thursday night, May 17th at midnight! It is a bit sooner than I had originally planned, but due to tight visa regulations and booked flights, May 17th it is!! I trust God has a hand in the timing!! I know I will be home for a longer season this time (at least 5 months) and am excited to share all that God is doing in Bangladesh and in me!
